Competitions News
Alexander Strawn represented NSAL AZ in the 2026 National Awards Competition in High Brass winning 2nd Place.
He completed his Doctor of Musical Arts from Arizona State University and currently serves as Principal Trumpet of the 108th “Arizona’s Own” Army Band. https://www.
Parker Rozzano-Keefe is the NSAL AZ Ballet competition winner. He competed nationally in Pittsburgh at the 2025 National Awards Competition in Dance and won 4th Place.
Parker is a pre-professional student in training at the Master Ballet Academy in Scottsdale.
Congratulations to José Andrés Uribe Garza our first place 2024 Musical Theater competition winner for Arizona! He competed at the National Meeting in Champaign-Urbana and won 5th Place.
He is currently a senior at Arizona State University majoring in Musical Theater.

Roy Papp & Associates, LLP, Arts Advocacy Award; Parker Rozzano-Keefe, 1st place Arizona Ballet award; Taylor Carey, 2nd place Ballet; and Tessa Rivadulla, 3rd place Ballet.
